This new DR system consists of a Canon Amorphous Silicon (a-Si) Flat Panel Detector and a Cesium Iodide (CsI) scintillator, allowing for extremely effective X-ray absorption and high signal-to-noise performance.
The CXDI-40EC is equipped with a large 17-inch x 17-inch imaging area for capturing images large and small without the need to adjust detector orientation. The versatile CXDI-40EC can upgrade your existing radiographic suite or be retrofit to a new upright stand, universal stand or bucky table.
Features
- The high-resolution, premium CXDI-40EC detector features maximum image quality and minimal x-ray exposure to patients with state-of-the-art LANMIT 8 (Large Area New-MIS Sensor and TFT) technology, making the CXDI-40EC perfectly suited for pediatric and orthopedic use.
- The large 17” x 17” imaging area flexibly accommodates both large and small format anatomical views without the need to adjust detector orientation.
- The technologist selects the necessary views to complete the requested exam or the requested views are automatically selected through communication between the DICOM worklist and the RIS.
- An on-screen preview image is available just 3-5 seconds after exposure. Sequential images can be acquired in as little as 6 seconds.
- Ethernet 10/100/1000 Base T connectivity with DICOM 3.0 compatibility enables seamless data transfer to any DICOM hard copy output device, PACS, or HIS/RIS for efficient printing, archiving, and remote viewing of Images. The system complies with IHE ( for interoperability to ensure easy, effective integration with the hospital network.
With a full range of Digital Radiography (DR) systems for every general radiographic application, Canon Medical Systems helps hospitals, imaging centers and clinics find the perfect digital solution.
